SELECTION OF A STRATEGIC INVESTOR FOR THE INTEGRATED STEEL COMPLEX PROJECT
Dear Esteemed Investor,
Aligned with the Government of Mongolia’s and the Erdenes Mongol Group’s 2024 – 2028 medium – term strategic priorities, Mongolia is actively advancing the development of an Integrated Steel Complex in the Darkhan – Selenge region, positioning it as a key driver for transforming and upgrading the country’s mining and metallurgical sectors.
The project is fully aligned with Mongolia’s national development policy framework and the Government’s 2024 – 2028 Action Program. It is of strategic importance for diversifying the economy, deepening the value-added processing of mineral resources, and expanding the production of higher-value industrial outputs.
In this context, the Government of Mongolia invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from qualified domestic and international investors to participate in the development of the Integrated Steel Complex Project.
The Government is committed to fostering long-term, mutually beneficial, and sustainable partnerships.
